Delete your AutoEG account

1. Sign in to AutoEG on the website or in the app.
2. Open Account → Settings → Security.
3. Choose “Delete my account”, read what will happen and tick the confirmation box.
4. Confirm. You are signed out right away and we email you the deletion date.

The app shows the same pages, so the steps are identical on your phone.

• Your account is hidden immediately: you are signed out on every device, push notifications to your devices stop, your profile and listings can no longer be found, and people you have been chatting with can no longer message you.
• We email you the date your account will be deleted, 14 days after your request.
• Changed your mind? Sign in within 14 days and choose “Keep my account”. Signing in alone does not cancel the deletion.
• After 14 days your account is deleted for good.

• Your name, email address, phone number, street address, postal code and city, username and profile photo.
• Your active listings, which end and disappear from search.
• Your membership in any dealer organizations.
• Your password and your connections to sign-in services. Sign in with Apple is also revoked with Apple. The account cannot be recovered.

• Invoices, receipts and payment records, which tax and accounting law requires us to keep.
• Reviews you wrote and messages you sent stay visible to the people they were for, without your name.
• A security log entry recording that the account was deleted.

To protect buyers and sellers, we ask you to finish these first:

• Pay any outstanding auction fees.
• Let auctions that already have bids finish.
• If you are the only owner of a dealer organization, transfer ownership or delete the organization.

If one of these comes up during the 14 days, we email you on the deletion date to explain what to do. Your account stays hidden and is deleted as soon as it is resolved.

If you can't access your account, contact us from the email address registered on it and we will delete it for you.
